Esomeprazole may be a proton pump inhibitor that stifles gastric corrosive discharge by particular restraint of the H+/k+ -ATPase within the gastric parietal cell by acting particularly on the proton pump, Esomeprazole squares the ultimate step in corrosive generation, in this way diminishing gastric corrosiveness.
