Indications of Volinac 50gm Gel
Sprains, strains, tendinitis, bursitis, hands, neck & shoulder discomfort, sciatica, muscular stiffness, joint pain, back soreness, and lumbago are among the musculoskeletal problems for which Volinac 50gm Gel is indicated.
Pharmacology of Volinac 50gm Gel
Diclofenac Diethylamine is absorbed systemically through the skin and inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase, lowering PGE2 production. Furthermore, it boosts Arachidonic acid uptake into the cellular pool. Vasodilator: Menthol is a vasodilator. It causes blood vessels to dilate, a sense of coldness, and analgesia. Methyl salicylate is well-known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
Volinac 50gm Gel Dosage & Administration
Approximately one-inch band of gel should be applied to the affected site three to four times daily with rubbing till the film disappears. Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity to any part of the preparation.
Side Effects
The majority of the time, it is well tolerated. Hypersensitivity reactions occur seldom.
Pregnancy & Lactation
The safety of this gel during pregnancy has yet to be determined. There have been no well-controlled diclofenac studies in pregnant women.
Precautions & Warnings
Only for external use. Avoid making eye contact. If the disease worsens or does not improve within 7 days, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep out of children’s reach. If you’ve ingested something, get medical attention or call a poison control center straight once.
