Description
Generic
Polyethylene Glycol + Propylene Glycol
Indications
This sterile eye drop is intended to provide brief relief from burning and irritation caused by eye dryness.
Pharmacology
The combination of Polyethylene Glycol 400 & Propylene Glycol is clinically proven to reduce both signs and symptoms of dry eye. The mechanism of action is thought to be due to its unique gelling and lubricating system formulated to adjust to each users individual tear pH. When the chemicals in these eye drops mix with natural tears, a soft gel creates a protective network across the eye’s surface. Because it creates a healthy environment on the eye’s surface, injured surface cells can recover more readily.
