Interaction of Pedeamin 100 ml

Diphenhydramine substantially decreases the gastrointestinal absorption of the antituberculous drug para-aminosalicyclic acid (PAS). Diphenhydramine’s sedative effect may be exacerbated by CNS depressants. Anticholinergic medications may amplify Diphenhydramine’s anticholinergic adverse effects.

Ammonium chloride is contraindicated in the presence of known hypersensitivity to Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride. It is also contraindicated in the presence of compromised hepatic or renal function.

Side Effects of Pedeamin 100 ml

Sedation, dizziness, tinnitus, tiredness, ataxia, blurred vision, diplopia, euphoria, and epigastric pain are some of the side effects.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Category B: There have been no sufficient and well-controlled trials of diphenhydramine hydrochloride in pregnant women. As a result, diphenhydramine hydrochloride should be taken during pregnancy only when absolutely necessary. Diphenhydramine hydrochloride has been shown to be excreted in breast milk; thus, use of diphenhydramine hydrochloride in nursing mothers is not advised.

Precautions & Warnings

Patients whose sleepiness is undesired, such as drivers and machine operators, should be treated with caution. Concurrent use of alcohol or central nervous system (CNS) depressants will increase sleepiness.
