Description
Generic
Indications
This sterile eye drop is intended to provide brief relief from burning and irritation caused by eye dryness.
Pharmacology
The combination of Polyethylene Glycol 400 and Propylene Glycol has been shown in clinical studies to decrease both the signs and symptoms of dry eye. Its unique gelling and lubricating system, which is intended to adapt to each user’s specific tear pH, is considered to be the mechanism of action. When the chemicals in these eye drops mix with natural tears, a soft gel creates a protective network across the eye’s surface. Because it creates a healthy environment on the eye’s surface, injured surface cells can recover more readily.
