Gatifloxacin + Dexamethasone
Indications
Sterilized Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of eye inflammation caused by bacteria, such as Blepharitis and Scleritis as well as Episcleritis and Iriritis, as well as Chronic Uveitis of the Anterior Eyelid and Interstitial Keratitis, as well as Chemical Radiation and Thermal Burns that result in Corneal Marginal Ulcerations and Allergic Corneal Marginal Ulcers.
Pharmacology
Dexamethasone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that inhibits leukocyte migration and reverses enhanced capillary permeability to reduce inflammation. Immune response is suppressed by it.
Atifloxacin inhibits DNA replication, transcription, and repair in bacteria by inhibition of DNA gyrase & Topoisomerase IV enzymes.
Dosage & Administration
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 3 to 4 times daily.
Contraindications
Vaccinia, varicella, and many other viral disorders of the conjunctiva and cornea are contraindicated. If you have an eye infection caused by mycobacterium or a fungal illness of the eye or if you are hypersensitive to any of the medication’s components, you should not use this drug.”
Side Effects
Mild burning, chemosis, redness may occur.
Pregnancy & Lactation
It is not known if this drug is safe to use during pregnancy. Dexamethasone should only be used during pregnancy if the benefits outweigh the risks.
Gatifloxacin + Dexamethasone should be taken with caution to a breastfeeding mother.
Precautions & Warnings
Only for ophthalmological usage. Every ten days or so, the intraocular pressure should be checked to ensure that the device is working properly.

Storage Conditions
At room temperature, if possible! Protect against the sun. Closing the bottle after each usage is essential. You should not use the product for more than a month after opening the container.
